The hospital is located on Hospital Way - close to the Halton Lea shopping centre to the south of Runcorn. The hospital is on the Runcorn busway network with services every 5 minutes at peak times.

The bus stop is outside the main entrance. Some buses are low floor, wheelchair and buggy friendly. Licensed taxis and private hire vehicles are available and the hospital has freephones at the main entrance for ordering taxis. There are pay and display car parks at the two entrances to the hospital. The first 30 minutes parking is free. Automatic Number Plate Recognition is used so you need to input your registration number when getting your ticket.
